Who we are

If you ask for an inspection

The request form collects your name, your company, your email address, the type and address of the property, and what you need photographed. We use it to reply to you and to plan the work. The form is handled by Web3Forms, a form service, which passes your message to us by email.

If you sign up as an inspector

The sign-up form collects your full name, your mobile number, your city or ZIP code, whether you have a smartphone with a data plan and your own transportation, how you want to be paid (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or bank transfer), and the Venmo, Cash App or Zelle name you give us. We do not collect bank account details on the sign-up page. We also keep which wording of the agreement you accepted and when.

We use these details to contact you about inspection work and to pay you, and for nothing else. When you sign up, we email our own team your name and city or ZIP, through Cloudflare's email service, so someone can follow up; the email does not include your phone number or payout details. The details are stored in a database hosted by Neon, in the United States. We keep them for as long as we may offer you work, or until you ask us to delete them.

The sign-up page uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that runs in your browser to tell people from automated programs. Cloudflare receives your address and browser details for that check.

The website itself

This site is served by Cloudflare, which sees the address and browser details of every visit as part of delivering pages. We count visits to each page with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you from site to site. We do not use advertising trackers, and the fonts are served from this site, so your browser does not contact a font company.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not share it except with the services named above that process it for us, or where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by emailing [email protected]. This site is for people 18 and over.
